Getting any of your Opal Cameras up and running is easy.
Opal Tadpole
Unpacking your Opal Tadpole is even easier. Your camera comes with everything you need to get going in three simple steps.
- Take your camera out of our recyclable box.
- Clip your camera to the top of your laptop display.
- Connect the USB-C Cable to your computer.
Opal C1
Your C1 comes with everything that you will need to start running.

- Lens Cover
- USB-C Cable
- Camera Mount w/ Screw
- Assembly Key
Unpack and remove any wrapping from the components in the box. Confirm you have all the items listed above.
Turn the camera upside down and using the key provided, attach the mount to the bottom of the C1.
Use the cable provided and plug into both the back of your C1 and your computer. Once the camera is mounted to your monitor you can adjust the angle using the hinge in the mount by pulling the camera toward you.
Your C1 requires USB 3.1 for power and data transfer speeds. Keep this in mind if using a different cable, adapter, or plugging into a doc or external monitor.
