1. Close Opal Composer
Before proceeding, ensure that the Opal Composer app is completely closed on your Mac. We suggest ending any processes through the Activity Monitor, or using “CMD+Q” while your app is open.
2. Access Terminal
Navigate to the Applications folder, then Utilities, and open Terminal. This is where you'll input commands directly to your Mac.
3. Enter the Reset Commands
Copy the following command, paste it into Terminal, and press Enter:
rm -rf ~/Library/Group\\ Containers/97Z3HJWCRT.com.opalcamera.v2.Opal/Presets
Next, copy this command, paste it into Terminal, and press Enter:
tccutil reset All com.opalcamera.Opal.v2
Finally, copy this last command, paste it into Terminal, and press Enter:
defaults delete 97Z3HJWCRT.com.opalcamera.v2.Opal
4. Relaunch Opal Composer
Once you've input both commands, close Terminal and open Opal Composer. You should be presented with the onboarding steps. Follow these to re-enter the app.
⚠️ Important Note
Please be aware that this reset process will remove any presets you had previously created in the app. If you had important presets, you might want to note them down before proceeding.
